Disciples of Dance 

Disciples of Dance is an outreach ministry in Memphis, Tennessee that has members from different churches and backgrounds under the direction of Dr. Denita Hedgeman.  They specialize in ballet, jazz, tap, African, pantomime, spoken word, Latin, liturgical, hip-hop, drama, choreo-drama, sign language, prophetic, flags, streamers, banners and other dances from other cultures.  They have ministered locally, nationally and internationally during worship services, programs, weddings, graduations, reunions, conferences and other special events.  They have been afforded the opportunity to be featured on TBN on “The Praise The Lord” Show and on The Bobby Jones show at the International Gospel Music Industry Retreat in Las Vegas, NV.  They ministered at The International Praise and Worship Conference and other events in Toronto, Canada in July 2005, along with the Mississippi Blvd. Christian Church Dance Ministry (MBCC).  They won awards such as “Most Creative Dance Group” by Destined 2 Dance and “National Talent Search” by Dance Ministry Award Show.
