Mississippi Blvd. Christian Church Dance Ministry

Dr. Denita Hedgeman founded The Mississippi Blvd. Christian Church Dance Ministry in Memphis, Tennessee in 1990.  She was the choreographer and Minister of Dance until 2006. This ministry specialized in ballet, jazz, tap, African, pantomime, spoken word, Latin, Jewish, praise and congregational dance, hip-hop, drama, chore-drama, banners, flags, streamers, sign language and other dances from other cultures.  Their ages ranged from 8 years old to adult.

The MBCC Dance Ministry has ministered at The International Worship Conference and during other events in Toronto, Canada in the July 2005.
